Frosses rally driver Ryan MacHugh has been introduced as a nominee for the Billy Coleman Award after a profitable season of racing.
Mac Hugh rounded off his season by being topped the Class 2 Triton Showers Nationwide Rally Champion final week.
The 25-year-old secured the Irish Tarmac Junior Championship title final 12 months in addition to the 2022 Junior Donegal Worldwide Rally and 2023 Class 2 Irish Nationwide Championship.
MacHugh competes in a Ford Fiesta Rally4 together with his co driver Declan Boyle.

The winner of the Motorsport Eire Billy Coleman Younger Rally Driver of the Yr Award will obtain €100,000 price of help to contest rallies nationally and internationally in 2024. Coupled with Sport Eire and Motorsport Eire’s €50,000 funding, an additional €50,000 has been pledged by the Group Eire Basis.
