Qualifier successes for Donegal equestrians in Sligo

East Donegal Pony Membership had a profitable day in Sligo yesterday when 5 competing members every certified for the Nationwide Pony Membership Championships happening in Wexford subsequent month.

Up in opposition to riders from the opposite Space 6 counties of Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Longford and Roscommon, the Donegal ladies excelled of their courses.

Sophie Bonner from Dungloe, using Riverfield Kannafanta positioned 1st, with Creeslough’s Éabha Brennan, on Millfields Killnascully, positioned 2nd within the Junior Mixed Coaching.

Chloe McGlynn from Milford positioned 2nd within the Senior Mixed Coaching.

Within the Junior Workforce Showjumping, Éabha Brennan and Sophie Bonner each jumped clear to safe the first place place for his or her amalgamated Donegal/Leitrim Workforce.

The Donegal Workforce’s success continued within the Senior Showjumping competitors, with Milford’s Ellie Simms on Carnone Diamond Seashore leaping clear to complete in 2nd place, whereas Tara Brennan, Creeslough additionally jumped double clear, ending in third place.

All 5 riders will now characterize Space 6 on the Championship Finals in Wexford in July.
