Donegal teenager Rhys Irwin has been chosen as a wild card to race at World Superbikes at Donnington subsequent week.

The Kilmacrenan native is on the crest of a wave racing within the Premier Class at British Superbikes on his Astro JJR Suzuki, having secured his first win within the class final week at Knockhill in Scotland.
