GAA doubling down on aggressive under-12 video games

The GAA is about to clamp down on aggressive video games for gamers beneath the age of 12.

Golf equipment throughout the nation obtained an e-mail from headquarters reminding them that sanctions apply for preserving, recording or publishing of scores; competitions, blitzes or occasions that contain knockout phases; and/or the issuing of winners or runner-up medal, trophies, awards or prizes.

The ‘Go Video games’ coverage of the GAA, Camogie Affiliation, Girls Gaelic Soccer Affiliation, instructs that video games needs to be non-competitive and emphasise expertise and purposeful actions.

The Irish Information experiences that GAA golf equipment and counties have been advised that any membership both internet hosting or attending a blitz for the under-12 age group or under will likely be required to make an internet utility to county’s Video games Improvement Supervisor for approval.
