A younger Donegal schoolboy is the envy of younger footballers in every single place after getting to fulfill his hero Kylian Mbappé.
And the look on little Callum Hurley’s face says all of it.
Callum was chosen as a mascot for Monday night time’s Euro Qualifier in opposition to France on the Aviva Stadium.
However not in his wildest goals did the Killybegs lad suppose he would come so near his hero.
The 9-year-old, who performs with St. Catherine’s FC, was left star-struck after the encounter.
Callum’s dad Paul stated his lad was over the moon after the encounter.
“He has two heroes, Mbappé and Seamie Coleman. He had an unbelievable night time – aside from the consequence.
“He’s seen Eire play 5 or 6 occasions now and that’s the primary time he noticed them lose.
“However it didn’t actually matter as he received to see Mbappé up so shut. The image says all of it,” Paul informed Donegal Each day.
It was an actual household affair for Callum as he was accompanied to the Aviva by dad Paul and mum Tracy.
Paul added that Callum can also be an enormous fan of native hero Seamie Coleman.
“How may you not be? He’s such an awesome fella. Have a look at the superb job he did in conserving Mbappé so quiet on the night time,” laughed Paul.
The household now plan to get the image both framed or placed on a canvas for Callum.
“He’ll all the time be capable to bear in mind the night time he met Mbappé then,” smiled Paul.
